Resend or Download a Booking Invite
Two additions to the list of recent bookings on each booking page, and one thing taken away.
Sending the invitation again
The invitation goes out when somebody books, but invitations get deleted, get filtered as spam, or sit in the inbox of a colleague who has since left. Press Resend and tick who should get it. The people you leave unticked hear nothing, so you can send to one person without pestering everybody else.
If someone new should be on the call, tick “Add someone to this meeting” and give their name and email address. They join the booking, so they appear as an attendee in everybody’s calendar entry rather than only on the copy they receive. That changes the meeting for all of you, so this send goes to the whole list and the other calendars update instead of showing the old attendees.
Saving it to your own calendar
Download gives you the meeting as an .ics file, built from what the booking says at that moment. Open it and your calendar adds an ordinary event, with the video link if that page has video meetings switched on. Useful for a calendar that never got the email, or for passing the details to somebody who doesn’t need a seat at the table.
Fewer labels
Every row used to carry “Confirmed”, and “Sent” once the email had gone. Both were true of almost every booking, so neither told you anything, and “Confirmed” read as though the attendees had accepted. We never learn that: replies go to your own mailbox, not to us.
A row with nothing on it is now a normal booking. Two things still get a label: Cancelled, and Invite failed for the rare one whose email couldn’t be sent. Press Resend on that one to try again, and the label clears as soon as it goes.
The booking docs cover all of it, including who ends up on the list and the limit on extra people. Questions to .
